After the last note

When the last note of an old song fades, the room becomes audible again. A cup settling on the table, the weather outside, the pace of your own thoughts. There is no need to fill this little pause. Sometimes the song stays with you a little longer there.

One sip of chai

Before choosing the next song, take a sip of chai. If a scene comes to mind, let it stay without giving it a name. If no memory appears, the listening still mattered. You do not need to make a story out of every encounter with music.

Then choose for yourself

Today, try a few breaths of silence after “Piyu Bole”. Then decide whether to stay with that feeling, find a different melody, or enjoy the quiet for now. The choice is yours; that is your little gathering.
